Make sure you are listed on the Guild Professional Registers

The Guild Professional Registers are five databases of Beauty Therapists, Holistic Therapists, Nail Technicians, Hairdressers & Barbers and Therapy Lecturers. They contain details of qualified and ethical professionals. They give members of the public reassurance that they are dealing with people who are respected for their professional attitude and knowledge.

How the Guild Professional Registers work?

Visitors to Beautyguild.com can search for a professional on the Guild Registers by name, or using a postcode. The search results will provide the name of the company, location, and a list of the treatments provided. The visitors will then be able to contact the professional directly by email, over the phone or via social media links.

Who can join the Guild Professional Registers:

All Guild Members who hold insurance can join the appropriate Professional Register free of charge. However, if you are not a member of The Guild, you must send a copy of your insurance to info@beautyguild.com and pay an annual fee of £39 + VAT.

Perks of joining the Guild Professional Registers

• Having your name listed on one or more of the Professional Registers is an ideal way of demonstrating to clients, colleagues and students that you are a true professional.
• They allow members of the public to choose therapists, nail technicians and lecturers who are adequately qualified and insured.
• The Professional Registers are also used by employers, so if you are looking for a job, having your name and details included will boost your chances of finding work.
• Everyone listed on the Professional Registers receives a subscription to Guild Gazette magazine which provides up to 30 hours of CPD training per year.
• Members can display social media links and list any treatments they offer.
